John was a cousin that I only saw 2 or 3 times his entire life, and those were when he was a small child. He death has really impacted me none the less and left me with an undeniable sense of sadness and loss. I had thought many times that "someday" I would make it back to FL and get to know him better. Our fathers were brothers, and I have good memories of my "Uncle Bill", a very powerful looking man with a gentle smile and kind demeanor. I joking thought that John was "named after me", but in reality, we were both named after my grandfather, as was my own father. John's all over the place in this Wright family!! I pray for Bill, Cordi & Angela, and any other family members. RIP cousin and we will get acquainted better when I make it home. Blessings

John and I played football for 3 years together in Jacksonville, Fl. and remember John as a hard worker even then, he was always the first on the field and always helped his teammates, I always hoped to see him at a reunion but never did prayers go out to him family. Rest In Peace fellow Commander.

John Charles had such a kind heart! I remember how caring he was towards his patients. One day he bought a pair of shoes for his patient because he didn’t have any shoes. One of the many kind things he did!
I only worked with John for a short time but will always remember his kind soul ...RIP
I remember John Charles’ infectious laugh and sense of humor. He always had a kind word and a smile. He will be so missed.
